This time I have the pleasure of sharing the opinion of Massimo Mantellini , one of the most well-known and followed Italian bloggers. I appreciate his wit and intellectual honesty. His thoughts on technology and society are periodically hosted by Punto Infomatico and Il Sole 24 Ore. Massimo Mantellini– Massimo, do you think the blog is dead? It's a matter of definitions. Talking about the blog understood as a "phenomenon" is like saying that the Internet is dead and therefore the answer is no. The tool certainly isn't, it's not dead either, as is normal over time it fragments and adapts to different communication needs: the blog trend isn't that either, at least for now, unfortunately.
But I don't despair about the latter, that at least if fashion doesn't India Mobile Number Data die at least it will disappear: I look forward to Norman's next book "Invisible Blogging" (OK it's a joke) – What will be the “next big thing”? the next big thing could be to stop imagining that there is one every 5 seconds and settle for a free and neutral network. Which wouldn't be much. – The missing blog, i.e. which person/company would you like to blog about? I really miss our politicians' blogs. Whatever side they are. I don't like the ones that exist. The day we have real bloggers in the ranks of our representatives (and it's not impossible, it happens elsewhere) it will mean that politics in this country will be better than it is now.
The application you wouldn't give up? Meanwhile, soap, applied from time to time, improves our social relationships. Then the cell phone ringtones. Especially the polyphonic ones, preferably very expensive to download from a Japanese site. Ringers have kept a lot of bad guys off the net over the years (to paraphrase Oscar Wilde on rugby). – What do you like to do most when you're not blogging? I like travelling, I like books, I once really liked music... if we continue like this, in a little while I might overwhelm you with clichés like that I really like meeting new people, but I won't go that far. – Share with us a link that deserves rotten.com. A site that I often mention, an unspeakable place not to be visited but whose existence on the internet means a lot for the internet itself. Treasure it (and don't go there).
